On 3 March 2022, the European affairs committee of the UK House of Lords has written to UK foreign secretary Liz Truss, to the European Commissioner for Research, Innovation, Culture, Education and Youth Mariya Gabriel and to the European Parliament “to express its deep concerns” about the failure to reach an agreement on research cooperation to Horizon Europe. Following an evidence session on 1st February 2002, a clear message was received that UK association to Horizon Europe would be a “win-win” for both parties.
