As the delay in the association of Switzerland to Horizon Europe continues, the Swiss government has announced a series of transitional measures to fund researchers in European calls for proposals currently not accessible for Swiss participants. Whilst rapid association to Horizon Europe remains the Swiss Federal Council’s goal, it has decided on further measures to diversify and strengthen the international orientation of Swiss research and innovation in its areas of excellence.
