Stick to Science

Put science collaboration before politics

How to support us

Together we can make a difference and get our voices heard across Europe, making the case that Switzerland’s and the UK’s association to Horizon Europe must be concluded as swiftly as possible.

We are asking for your help in making our campaign a success as long as the association of Switzerland and the UK to Horizon Europe has not been secured.

Here is how you can support us as an organisation:

Share information on the Stick to Science initiative with individuals in your organisation, asking them to sign up to the initiative, if you haven’t done so yet. This will help us increase the number of signatories from a range of countries and backgrounds. Those interested can sign up quickly and easily on our website

Invite your international networks and your contacts in EU Member States to join you and the major Research and Innovation actors in Europe by signing up to the initiative and campaigning for barrier-free collaboration in Europe. The UK and Switzerland need to be associated as soon as possible to Horizon Europe.

Share with your contacts the two links to register:

Our governments and parliamentarians across Europe and in Brussels want to hear from you.

If you are a European organisation, please do consider writing a letter to the European Commission, the European Parliament and/or your national government representatives so that your views on keeping Horizon Europe open to the UK and Switzerland are heard.

If you are a UK or Swiss-based organisation, please urge your European colleagues to do so and/or write to your national government representatives.

You can find template letters here: for the European Commission, for Members of the European Parliament, for national government/parliament representatives (see suggested list of European political leaders to write to and their Twitter handles).

Do not hesitate to take contact with us if you want any guidance: info@stick-to-science.eu.

Once you have written your letter, you can let everyone know by sharing this asset concerning your representative or this one concerning the European Commission on Twitter or LinkedIn.

Several supporters have shared videos on why this initiative matters so much to them and their organisations (see Supporter Videos – Stick to Science (stick-to-science.eu). Real-life stories about what being part of the EU’s framework programme including UK and Swiss scientific collaboration mean to you, will bring the issue to life and help tell a story that adds to the hard facts. Do consider filming a short (10 seconds to 1 minute) clip of someone in your organisation explaining why your organisation supports the campaign in your own words. If you are interested, please contact us via info@stick-to-science.eu so that we can support you, and also share it on Twitter, using #StickToScience and @Stick2Science.

If you are an organisation or an individual with media experience, consider how you might engage with the media where you are. Could you write an opinion editorial or comment piece, for example?
